The Mucovereniging has been sending out a pack with a teddy bear to recruit new donors for several years. Every year, the DSC team that works for this association organises a brainstorming session to improve the mailing.
This version of the bear campaign was also a success. The fact that it was sent during European Cystic Fibrosis Week was certainly a factor that contributed to this.
The package wasn’t cheap, but it was definitely well worth the investment, with the high response rate keeping the cost per newly recruited donor low.
